Remote First

Here at Feedonomics, we operate in a fully remote work environment. Our home office is based in Los Angeles, California, but our employees are located all over the United States. For this role, this requires a hybrid work schedule where you will have to go into the office at our Woodland Hills, CA location.

The Role

We are looking for a qualified Desktop Support Engineer to assist users with PC and Mac troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will take local IT software and hardware issues from users within Feedonomics as well as assist in planning and executing projects as needed to improve the IT infrastructure. Excellent troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, and verbal and written communication skills are required. The goal is to assist users in an effort to maintain up-to-date and efficient computer systems and networks to optimize the user's work experience. Must be able to work and manage tasks independently. This advantageous position will report directly to the Director of IT and Security.

The Responsibilities

  • Manage company devices and peripherals, including the provisioning and shipping of equipment for all new and former employees
  • Resolve and log all internal helpdesk tickets, which may include providing assistance with the following:
    • Software installation
    • Troubleshooting Hardware and Software issues
    • Troubleshoot and resolve user system errors
    • Spam and/or security-related inquiries
    • General questions company users may have regarding software, hardware, etc.
  • Utilize internal tools for both users and equipment:
    • Azure AD
    • Endpoint Manager (Intune)
    • G Suite
    • Microsoft 365
    • LastPass
    • VPN
  • Deploy PC upgrades on an as-needed basis and deploy hardware refreshes
  • Email quarantine management
  • Pager duty on a rotational basis for after-hours assistance
  • Auditing of users and systems
  • Review user application requests
  • Assist with project rollouts
  • Assist with in-office IT support for visiting employees as needed

The Requirements

  • Thorough knowledge of computer software, hardware, a variety of internet applications, and network implementations
  • Expert knowledge in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with Mac OSX and Windows 7-11
  • IT support: 1-2 years (preferred)
  • PC hardware support: 1-2years (preferred)
  • Azure AD: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Intune: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Linux: 1 year (preferred)
  • MCTS (preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Required to come into the office in Woodland Hills, CA as needed
